GRANTS SUPPORT DELMAR SIGN
WHEATLAND (IOWA) Delmar Lions Club is the
recipient of a $500 Iowa Network
Services (INS) Charity Grant, plus
a $500 matching contribution
from F&B Communications.
Grant funds will be used by
the group to support a digital
message board that was recently
installed in Norton Park along
F&B Communications, the local telecommunications provider in Delmar, is one of 122 Iowa independent telephone company member-owners of INS, which helps to provide advanced telecommunications and data services across the state.
Nearly $24,000 has been awarded to organizations in the F&B Communications service area in the last 20 years since the charity grant program began.
The charity grant program is open to non-profit organizations in the F&B Communications service area. Grant applications are available at the business office in Wheatland. Charity grants are awarded on a quarterly basis and chosen by an independent review committee organized by INS.
F&B Communications is the premiere local telecommunications provider offering telephone, long distance, digital video, high-speed fiber and DSL Internet, satellite Internet, wireless PCS and home security services to customers in the Bennett, Calamus, Delmar, Lowden and Wheatland exchanges and surrounding areas. The company also provides computer sales and service through their Technology Solutions retail store.
