WHEATLAND (IOWA) The grills were hot and the beverages cold at this month’s customer appreciation lunches.

More than 1,200 customers attended one of five locations marking the twelfth year of the annual summer event.

A display featuring merchandise from Technology Solutions was featured at all locations. F&B Digital Video High-Definition programming, PVR service and High-Speed Internet were also demonstrated. A Fiber to the Home display was also setup.

A drawing was held for various prizes. Winners include:

The appreciation days were held June 14 in Calamus, June 15 in Delmar, June 16 in Wheatland, June 22 in Bennett and June 23 in Lowden.

"Customer appreciation day lunches are one way we strive to show customers our thanks and provide them an opportunity to meet our staff and directors," said Aaron Horman, marketing manager. "We believe events like this stress the advantage of doing business with a local company."
