WHEATLAND (IOWA) Customers who receive a monthly bill from F&B Communications, the local telecommunications provider, now have two new convenient payment options. Beginning in April, customers can now choose automatic bank account or credit card deductions.

Customers who choose to have their monthly bill deducted from a bank account can have funds withdrawn from their checking or savings account on the statement due date. Payments can also be charged automatically to a customer's credit card each month.

"We live in a busy world and our customers are looking for ways to save time and money," said Ken Laursen, F&B Communications general manager. "Automatic payment options are one more way to help out our customers."

Users of eStatement, F&B Communications' online account look-up utility, can also go to the Internet to pay their bill online with a credit card over a secure Web site.

"We are pleased to give customers the convenience to pay their bill online," said Aaron Horman, F&B Communications Web designer. "This is very revolutionary, especially for smaller, community-based telecommunications providers."

To sign up for an automatic payment plan, log on to the F&B Communications Web site at http://www.fbc-tele.com and download the request form or stop by the business office in Wheatland.

There is no cost to take advantage of these payment options.

F&B Communications is the local telecommunications provider offering telephone, cable television, digital broadcast satellite, dial-up Internet, high-speed DSL Internet and wireless PCS services to customers in the Bennett, Calamus, Delmar, Lowden and Wheatland exchanges and surrounding areas.
